Kyle Love

If the Buffalo Bills are looking for veteran insurance behind Star Lotulelei, a player like Kyle Love wouldn’t be a bad option. The former Panthers defensive tackle has spent the past six seasons in Carolina, three of which Sean McDermott was his defensive coordinator.

The Bills added depth at the position with Vernon Butler and Quinton Jefferson this free agency, however neither is a good fit if the team needs to replace Lotulelei. The main competition for him will be Harrison Phillips, but he has his own question marks coming back from an ACL injury early last season.

If the coaching staff feels like Phillips may not be ready, or able to return to his level of play, an option like Kyle Love would make sense and likely not cost much.
