Davis Webb

Right before the start of the year, the Buffalo Bills added quarterback Davis Webb to their practice squad and he remained with the franchise the entire season. The Bills brought Webb back early in the offseason with a reserves/future contract however with the drafting of Jake Fromm, it is hard to find a place for him on the roster.

This certainly hasn’t stopped Webb from contributing and he was down in Florida during the player led workouts earlier this month. The former third round pick has bounced around after spending his rookie season with the New York Giants, then in 2018 he spent the year with the New York Jets but he was released prior to the 2019 season.

Unless the Buffalo Bills coaching staff is confident with Jake Fromm as the backup and elect to release Matt Barkley, Davis Webb could be looking for a new team prior to the upcoming season.
