Evan Boehm

The way that Brandon Beane has rebuilt the offensive line over the past two seasons has been very remarkable. The Buffalo Bills last offseason brought in a number of offensive linemen to create competition in hopes of building the best starting five. The result was Dion Dawkins joined by four new starters with Quinton Spain, Mitch Morse, Jon Feliciano and Cody Ford.

The offensive line wasn’t necessarily a concern this offseason but the front office was able to add Daryl Williams for competition at tackle and Evan Boehm for competition in the interior of the line.

The issue is that the moves made last offseason has given the Bills established depth that makes it hard for a player like Boehm to stick on the roster. Boehm entered the league in 2016 and is playing with his fourth franchise during that time with his first two years with the Arizona Cardinals, one year with the Indianapolis Colts and last season with the Miami Dolphins. During that time he has played in 55 games, including starting 21 of them.

If the Bills didn’t have the depth they had, Boehm would be a perfect candidate to backup the interior of the offensive line. However, there are better players currently ahead of him on the depth chart.
