Tyrel Dodson

The Buffalo Bills actually signed Tyrel Dodson as an undrafted free agent last offseason and he played in all four preseason games. However, Dodson was suspended for six games to start the year after violating the team’s personal conduct policy.

The Bills waived him after he served those six games and he never got a chance to play a snap for the team last year. They did bring him back this year with a reserves/futures contract after the season but he will face stiff competition at the linebacker position.

While the Bills did lose Lorenzo Alexander, they signed free agents Tyler Matakevich and A.J. Klein and are also getting last year’s fifth round pick, Vosean Joseph, back from injury. If the team elects to keep only five linebackers, Dodson could end up not playing a snap for the Buffalo Bills even though he is entering his second offseason with the team.
