These are five Buffalo Bills that the team could look to trade closer to the regular season.

The Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane has proven to be one of the better general managers in the league. One of the reasons is that he tries to find value wherever possible and doesn’t give anything away.

A perfect example of this is his ability to work out trades for players that likely would be cut as the team gets their roster down to the league mandated 53-man roster. This past season was a perfect example of that as he traded Wyatt Teller and Russell Bodine on consecutive days to the Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots respectively.

While the return wouldn’t blow any fans away, the Bills ended up with a fifth and two sixth round picks, the fact that Beane was able to get anything for players that likely would have been cut prior to the start of the year is a shrewd move on his part.

This year, the Buffalo Bills have one of the deepest rosters they have ever had and while this is a good thing, it also means that they are likely going to have to cut good players. This is once again where Brandon Beane will need to go to work and try to get something back in return.

These are five players that the Bills may want to make available for trade closer to the regular season.
