Throwback uniforms?
Due to the current NFL one-helmet policy, players are only allowed to have one helmet shell and that is to be used for the entirety of the season.
There has been some discussion on whether this rule would be abolished during the 2021 season as there has been a cult following of Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans begging for the “creamsicle” uniforms to make an appearance. If this rule were to change, it would allow teams to circulate helmets, giving them more options for uniform combinations. With this in mind, Twitter user Joe McManus drafted an idea of what a Bills throwback uniform could look like with the current specifications of the league’s official supplier, Nike.

Paying tribute to the extremely successful Bills teams of the 90s, the uniforms are a modern interpretation of the original Buffalo Bills. Complete with numbers located on the sleeve rather than the shoulder and a very simplistic design, adding a uniform like this could bolster the Bills’ already iconic aesthetic.
Currently, the team has four uniforms: home blue, road white, AFL alternate white, red color rush. Be it that the color rush uniforms are only to be worn on specific games, most commonly Thursday nights, the throwback uniforms would be a warm welcome to fans as the current teams hope to play like the 90s and if looking like them helps, then bring on the throwbacks.
