These are three bold predictions for what is now a wide open AFC East race.

The landscape for the AFC East is going to look drastically different in 2020 as Tom Brady departs from the New England Patriots and joins the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has helped the Patriots dominate the division landscape as the Patriots have won 11 straight AFC East titles and 16 of the past 18.

However, the AFC East now looks wide open and the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets have to like their chances. This is not to say that the Patriots should be completely written off but this year should be one of the most competitive as the team’s look to be on very even playing ground.

The Bills and Jets have quarterbacks who are entering their third season in the league with Josh Allen and Sam Darnold and both franchises are hoping to see them take that next step in their development. The Dolphins aren’t far behind at this position either and the expectations are high for Tua Tagovailoa, who was expected to be the top pick but an injury last year dropped his stock down to fifth overall.

In what should be an exciting AFC East race, these are the three bold predictions for the division for the upcoming season.
