These are three ways the Buffalo Bills offense can help the defense this upcoming season.

There is no question that the strength of the Buffalo Bills is their defense. They have ranked in the Top 5 the past two seasons and played a major role in getting them to the playoffs last year.

The offense has lagged behind a bit, especially with Josh Allen under center. The past two years the Bills have finished in the bottom third of the league in yards per game but did show some improvement last season in comparison to the previous year.

This is not necessarily a bad thing and was expected with a young quarterback trying to learn the league. The front office, led by GM Brandon Beane, has done a good job bringing in skill players to help speed up that development and with Allen entering his third year in the league the offense is expected to take a step forward.

Even with that step, the strength of the Bills will still remain the defense but the offense can improve in some key areas to help their teammates on the other side of the ball out. These are those three stats that the Buffalo Bills offense needs to improve in 2020.
