These are four players the Buffalo Bills can’t risk putting on the practice squad.

With seven selections in the 2020 NFL Draft the Buffalo Bills added even more talent to a roster filled with depth. There are some young players the team would love to keep and hold on the practice squad if they can’t crack the roster, but they would risk losing the players to another team.

With the new game day roster rules where a team can now carry a 55-man game day roster, by elevating two players from the practice squad to the active 53. Practice squad players would have more chance to make appearances in games thanks to the new rule and Buffalo would like to keep some valuable talent on the practice squad. The players would most likely be inactive but appear on the game day roster and could gain some valuable experience from the sideline.

At positions of strength like wide receiver and defensive line, Buffalo will most likely have to make some decisions on practice squad eligible players and whether they want to risk losing them.
