These are three former Buffalo Bills returning to New Era Field this season to face off against their former team.

At the beginning of every offseason, owners and general manager’s push that hypothetical reset button and begin making changes that will suit the team moving forward and the Buffalo Bills are no different. For any player in the NFL, it is a rarity for one to stay on a team for their entire career. Players age, they get injured, get traded or just simply released. It is the nature of the business. No pun intended, but there is always a high turnover on any NFL roster.

So when the schedule gets released, fans will look at their favorite team and decide on which game they will want to attend. But at the same time, they may luck out and get the opportunity to see a player that will be making an appearance against their former team during the regular season. They will either have the chance to give them a hard time or give them an appreciative round of applause.

At times it can be a disadvantage for the former team because there is already a familiarity between the two parties and secrets can be divulged to people who are not privy to that kind of information. Whenever the game is played, that player will want to prove to his former teammates and coaches that they made a mistake in letting them and their talent go. More often than not, they do not get the chance to show what they got because of proper game planning.

Whoever it may be makes for great story lines throughout the regular season and fans can mark those games on their calendars. This season, the Buffalo Bills will be welcoming a few of those former players who have their own storyline to offer us.
