Starter: Dion Dawkins, Buffalo Bills (Left Tackle)

Starting at left tackle, Dion Dawkins had a very solid season where he solidified himself as a good tackle in the league and looks like he could be the long term starter for the Bills on Josh Allen’s blind spot. Dawkins was exceptional in pass protection and was given a 76.4 pass blocking grade from PFF, and only allowed 4 sacks.

Dawkins got better as the year went on and fits the Bills culture admirably. He was one of the main pieces of a Bills line that saw a significant amount of improvements in 2019.

Nobody can forget about Dion’s second career touchdown grab against the Patriots on primetime.

Starter: Marcus Cannon, New England Patriots (Right Tackle)

With a shortage of talent at the right tackle position in the AFC East, Marcus Cannon comes to mind as the player with the most proven track record. Cannon had an up and down year with New England, accumulating a 67.5 pass blocking grade and an overall grade of 68 according to PFF. He also allowed 6 sacks which is a bit concerning but he still stands out at the top of the right tackle class.

Ty Nsekhe would of been a real candidate for this position due to his great play in limited time last year, but with Cody Ford looking like the starter for the Bills next season we had to go with Cannon.
