Tremaine Edmunds

It is hard to believe that Tremaine Edmunds is entering his third season with the Buffalo Bills and is only 21 years of age. The fact that Edmunds has been the starting middle linebacker his first two years in the league playing over 90% of the team’s defensive snaps and earned his first Pro Bowl appearance the front office should make sure he stays in Western New York for years to come.

Tremaine Edmunds is a unique combination of length and speed at 6’5″ and 250 pounds. This past season, the speed of the game seemed to slow for him and he was making plays last season he may have missed as a rookie.

The middle linebacker position is crucial to Sean McDermott’s defense and McDermott has been fortunate to coach one of the best in league history in Luke Kuechly previously with the Carolina Panthers. It appears that Tremaine Edmunds is on a similar trajectory and as long as Sean McDermott is the head coach he has to hope that Edmunds will be his middle linebacker.
