In an interview with Good Morning Football on NFL Network, Buffalo Bills’ rookie running back Zack Moss talked about how he wants to force defenders to make “business decisions.”

The Buffalo Bills were looking for some power at the running back position this offseason and they appear to have found it in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft with the selection of Zack Moss.

The former Utah running back joined Good Morning Football on NFL Network on Friday and was asked about the comparisons he is drawing to former Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch.

Moss responded that he has a mentality that he doesn’t want to have one guy bring him down when he has the ball and if players want to tackle him, it is going to have to be a “business decision.”

This type of mentality has to have Bills fans excited and Zack Moss looks like the perfect fit in this offense and the perfect running mate for Devin Singletary. He was a major part of the Utes offense the past few years with three consecutive 1,000 rushing yard seasons. This was due to the fact that he didn’t go down on first contact and in CBS Sports’ profile of Moss they note that Pro Football Focus ranked him eighth in all of college football in yards after contact (1,042) last season.

Moss is not a big running back but he is compact at 5’9″ and 223 pounds and generates a lot of power when he has the ball in his hands. While Devin Singletary may be viewed as the featured running back, it would not be surprising to see over the second half of the year the splits are almost even between the two backs.

The addition of Zack Moss gives the Buffalo Bills a formidable one-two punch in the backfield and he should be a welcome addition to a rushing attack that ranked eighth last year.
