True number one wide receiver

While Stefon Diggs put up good numbers with the Minnesota Vikings, he never really was treated as the top wide receiver in the Vikings offense. This was due to the fact that Vikings had another top wide receiver in Adam Thielen.

This past season, the Vikings had Thielen and Diggs both on the field for 10 games and in those games, Diggs averaged 3.8 receptions and 70 receiving yards. However, there was five games that Thielen missed due to injuries that Stefon Diggs played in. In those five games, Diggs saw his averages jump to 5 receptions per game and 86 receiving yards.

If those averages are expanded out over a 16 game season, Diggs would finish with 80 receptions and 1,376 receiving yards, which would be a career high for receiving yards.

The Bills do have some depth at wide receiver with John Brown and Cole Beasley but Stefon Diggs is going to be viewed and get the workload of a true number one wide receiver. He should have plenty of opportunities to put up career numbers and help his case for the Pro Bowl.
