Jarrett Stidham

For the first time since 2008, the Buffalo Bills will not be facing Tom Brady this season. The former Patriots quarterback joined the Tampa Bay Bucs this offseason and it has paved the way for Jarrett Stidham to step into the role.

Stidham was a fourth round pick by the Patriots in last year’s NFL Draft after two years as the starting quarterback for Auburn.

While Stidham is largely unknown and what he is able to do, the fact that the coaching staff wasn’t interested in bringing in any of the starting caliber quarterbacks available this offseason like Jameis Winston, Cam Newton or Andy Dalton, shows their confidence in him.

This season could be the first year the Bills face him but it appears the Patriots believe he will be around for a few years in the AFC East.
