Tua Tagovailoa/Justin Herbert

At the top of the list is two quarterbacks that were not only first round picks in last month’s NFL Draft but also went Top 10. The Miami Dolphins selected Tua Tagovailoa fifth overall while the Los Angeles Chargers selected Justin Herbert one pick later at sixth overall.

Both quarterbacks have the potential to be starting for their team’s depending on how long each franchise stays within contention. The two quarterbacks ahead of them, former Bills Ryan Fitzpatrick on the Dolphins and Tyrod Taylor on the Chargers, are not the long term answer and the coaching staff may want to get these rookies playing time if the season becomes lost.

While the Bills don’t play the Chargers regularly and likely won’t face Hebert too often, the Bills will see plenty of Tagovailoa over the coming years, it just remains to be seen if this is the year they face off for the first time.
