By Thomas Gore
The release of the full NFL season schedule revealed that the Buffalo Bills are one of the hottest tickets in the league right now.
The Buffalo Bills will play four primetime games this upcoming season. After making the playoffs twice in the past three years, the Bills have proven that they are an up and coming team in the NFL. Now that the team is in the spotlight, Sean McDermott and company will have to prove they are up to the challenge.
The Bills will play their primetime games against the Kansas City Chiefs (home), San Francisco 49ers (away), Pittsburgh Steelers (home) and the New England Patriots (away). Facing the the current Super Bowl champion and runner up is difficult enough. Doing it under the bright lights of primetime is almost another task completely.
Fortunately, the Bills have slowly built a culture that is ready to play when the pressure is on. Last season’s wins against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys showed that the team looks ready to make a leap into the elite level of NFL play.
All four of these primetime games are individually intriguing as they contain various compelling storylines and implications for the Bills postseason prospects. Here is a ranking of each of the Bills primetime games, ranked by difficulty of game and how important the storyline of the game is to the Bills’ overall season.
