These are five wide receiver that will likely be competing for the two final wide receiver spots on the Buffalo Bills depth chart.

The wide receiver position for the Buffalo Bills has gone under a rather remarkable transformation with Brandon Beane as general manager. It certainly hasn’t been an easy process.

When he stepped into the role the team had Sammy Watkins at the top, followed by Zay Jones, who they just drafted earlier that offseason, Andre Holmes and Philly Brown.

Watkins didn’t even make it to the 2017 season, as he was traded to the Los Angeles Rams during training camp. The team then acquired players like Jordan Matthews and Kelvin Benjamin, however neither really panned out.

It wasn’t until last season this group started to see more production with the additions of John Brown and Cole Beasley. However, it was this offseason that Brandon Beane really solidified the position with the trade for Stefon Diggs, along with the selections of Gabriel Davis and Isaiah Hodgins in the NFL Draft.

The depth this position now has is rather remarkable and with Diggs, Brown, Beasley and Davis likely in the top four, the last two spots on the depth chart is going to be a heated training camp battle.

These are realistically the five players who could win those final spots entering the 2020 season.
