New Weapons

It goes without saying that the biggest roster improvement for the Buffalo Bills came in late March when team traded its first round pick to the Vikings in exchange for star wideout Stefon Diggs. With the addition of Diggs, it is fair to consider that the Bills may have the best receiving corps in the league along with returning starters like John Brown and Cole Beasley.

In Allen’s rookie campaign, his starting receivers included Zay Jones, Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes. It is nothing short of a miracle that the Bills managed to win six games with this supporting cast. The 2019 season saw some improvement with the addition of Brown and Beasley, but the offensive production was still lacking at times. This season, Allen has all the weapons he needs to fully develop his talent as a quarterback.

The Bills also added more offensive weapons in the 2020 NFL Draft. With the addition of Zack Moss to an already consistent backfield, the Bills also drafted two wide receivers in Gabriel Davis out of the University of Central Florida and Isaiah Hodgins of Oregon State. Adding these two players to an already stacked receiving corps could see the Bills finally break through on the offensive side of the ball. It could also help Josh Allen’s perception around the league which could lead to a Pro Bowl nod.
