7. Jake Fromm

Starting the rankings off is fifth round pick, quarterback Jake Fromm out of Georgia. The fact is that Bills fans should root for Jake Fromm not to have an impact on the field this year.

This is not to say that Fromm is a bad quarterback, or won’t have success at the NFL level, but if Fromm sees significant snaps this year that means something went really wrong.

There is no question that Josh Allen is the franchise quarterback and the leader of this offense. The Bills didn’t select Fromm to come in and compete for that starting job. If Fromm were to play it would mean that Allen suffered an injury or significantly regressed and is holding this offense back. Either scenario is not good for a team that has playoff aspirations this year.

One of the strengths of Jake Fromm is his football IQ so he should help in the position room and possibly on the sidelines during the game but hopefully this is the extend of his impact in 2020.
