Defensive Tackle (5)

Star Lotulelei, Harrison Phillips, Ed Oliver, Quinton Jefferson, Vernon Butler

The defensive tackle position will have some familiar faces with Star Lotulelei and Ed Oliver, welcome back Harrison Phillips, who suffered a knee injury that costed him most of last year, to play with free agent additions Quinton Jefferson and Vernon Butler.

There is no question that the depth at this position is rather remarkable with three first round picks in this group (Lotulelei, Oliver and Butler).

One player fans should pay close attention to leading up to the NFL season is Harrison Phillips. The former third round pick looked like he was on his way to breaking out last year before the injury and if he comes back strong, he should be able to push Lotulelei for the starting job in the middle of this defense.
