What runs on positions take place in the first round?

There always seems to be runs on positions groups in the NFL Draft, fans just don’t know when they will happen. Essentially teams start to see one or two positions get drafted and they want to make sure they get one of their top rated players at the position and it snowballs.

In the first round, there appears that there is going to be a high number of quarterbacks and offensive tackles taken as many as four at each position. The more that are taken the better because it pushes top talent at other positions, ones that the Bills could be targeting, down the board.

Buffalo Bills fans should be watching three key positions very closely on Thursday night. The fewer defensive ends, cornerbacks and running backs taken will certainly benefit this team. If the Bills can get a running back like Jonathan Taylor or J.K. Dobbins, or defensive end like A.J. Epenesa or cornerback like Trevon Diggs or A.J. Terrell at their first pick that should be considered a win.

However, if there is a run at any of those positions these players will likely be selected before the Buffalo Bills are on the clock for the first time.
