Round 5, 167th overall: Quintez Cephus, WR (Wisconsin)

Even though the Bills depth chart at wide receiver is set at the top with Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley and John Brown, this shouldn’t stop the front office from adding more weapons for Josh Allen.

The Bills still don’t have great size at the position and that is why a receiver like Quintez Cephus makes sense in the fifth round. He may not be the tallest wide receiver at only 6’1″ but he is solid and won’t be pushed around on the football field.

Cephus is more of a possession wide receiver and playing in this Wisconsin offense didn’t give him a ton of chances to show what he can do as a wide receiver. However, the Bills could utilize him in key parts of the game, specifically in the red zone as a big slot receiver this year.

He eventually could take over a starting job in a few years if John Brown or Cole Beasley do not come back at the end of their contracts.
