Round 7

Similarly to pick 202, a player with a notably higher ceiling remained on the board in Round 7. With pick 240 in the final round of Mock Draft Monday 2020, the Buffalo Bills select CB A.J. Green from Oklahoma State University.

Green is a player that was highly regarded coming into his senior year of college. Beane has made it evidently clear how much he wants competition in training camp and adding Green to this position group would further support this concept as well as add a potential future starter to the position group. Which the same cannot be promised for players like Josh Norman and E.J. Gaines.

The Buffalo Bills in this mock draft focused primarily on defense with two cornerbacks, a safety, defensive end and linebacker. However, they didn’t forget about offensive and provided Josh Allen with more weapons at running back, wide receiver and tight end.

These moves address key needs but also creates great competition heading into the next phase of the offseason.
