These are the worst first round picks by the Buffalo Bills and the players they could have picked instead.

The past few seasons under Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane the Buffalo Bills have found some quality players. It started in 2017 with just Sean McDermott with the franchise (Beane would join shortly after the NFL Draft) when they selected Tre’Davious White.

Then in their first draft together, the Bills selected Josh Allen and Tremaine Edmunds in 2018 and most recently the Bills selected defensive tackle Ed Oliver last year.

The consensus at this point is all four players are expected to be difference makers for this franchise in the years to come.

However, the first round hasn’t always been as fruitful for the Bills since 2000. The franchise struggled for a majority of those years and to make matters worse they were missing with high picks in this round.

These are some of the worst first round picks the Buffalo Bills have made and the players they could have selected instead.
