Michael Ojemudia

If the Buffalo Bills want a heavy hitter at cornerback then Michael Ojemudia is the player they need to target. He is 6’0″ and 199 pounds and is not afraid of contact and will make the tackle as evident in this highlight clip at DraftClips.com.

He is another cornerback that does an excellent job of tracking the ball and being able to make the play on it. The last two seasons at Iowa he combined to have six interceptions and 15 passes defended.

The way Kyle Crabbs of The Draft Network describes Ojemudia in zone coverage is why the Bills should be so interested in this corner:

"Zone Cover Skills – He’s super sharp here. He’s aggressive and routinely keys plays to jump into the catch point or crash receivers as they’re flipping their eyes up field. Much of his ball production has come from zone as well to react and flow to the throw as he navigates both deep third and flat responsibilities."

The combination of his willingness to support against the run, plus his strength of playing in the zone is an excellent player for the Buffalo Bills to have at the top of their draft board next week.
