The NFL Draft is a little over a week away and it is time for another seven round mock draft for the Buffalo Bills. However, this mock draft the Bills address the cornerback position.
The Buffalo Bills likely enter the NFL Draft with three key needs and over the past few weeks we have looked at how the picks could play out if they addressed each one of those needs first.
The first mock draft in this series saw the Bills address running back first and saw them add Jonathan Taylor out of Wisconsin. Then last week, we ran a mock draft if the Bills added an edge rusher with their second round pick, selecting Curtis Weaver out of Wisconsin.
For the latest mock draft, the Buffalo Bills go out and grab a cornerback with their first pick of the 2020 NFL Draft. The front office has been pretty proactive adding depth and veteran talent at the position.
They started out before free agency even officially kicked off by adding Josh Norman, who was released earlier this offseason by the Washington Redskins. The Bills also brought back veteran E.J. Gaines, who will be entering his third contract with the team over the past four years.
The expectation is that these two will be competing with Levi Wallace for the starting job opposite Tre’Davious White. However, they could get a cornerback in the second round that not only competes this year but is a long term solution to the position.
This is our latest mock draft for the Buffalo Bills with the help of the Mock Draft Machine at The Draft Network.
