Round 3 – Jonathan Greenard

Jonathan Greenard started his collegiate career at the University of Louisville and played three seasons there. Entering his fourth season, he suffered a wrist injury that cost him the entire year and then joined the University of Florida last season as a graduate transfer.

This past season was Greenard’s best as he finished with 10 sacks, 16 tackles for a loss, one interception, three forced fumbles and a defensive touchdown.

At 6’4″ and 262 pounds, Greenard is another defensive end who has the size to play a 4-3 defensive end but the quickness to get after the quarterback. Similar to Epenesa, he is also pretty good against the run and setting the edge.

He isn’t as polished as Epenesa though and could use some time to develop, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing for the Buffalo Bills with the defensive ends they have this season.
