These are the defensive ends that fit best for the Buffalo Bills in each round of the 2020 NFL Draft that they have a pick.

The defensive end position is one that isn’t necessarily a pressing need for the Buffalo Bills, but it would also be a significant boost if they were able to add a young pass rusher in the 2020 NFL Draft.

At the top of the depth chart are three players, Jerry Hughes, Trent Murphy and recent free agent signing Mario Addison, who will all be over 30 by the end of the season. These aren’t long term answers to the position, especially considering that Murphy is entering his final year and Hughes only has two years left on his contract.

The trouble for the Bills is that this is a position that isn’t necessarily deep, similar to say wide receiver. The challenge for the front office and scouting department is they will need to do more projecting based on key stats and traits versus having confident that they can contribute right away as a rookie.

We have identified one defensive end for each round of the 2020 NFL Draft that would be a good fit for the Buffalo Bills.
