Odell Beckham Jr. to Browns

In the same offseason as the Antonio Brown trade, the New York Giants sent Odell Beckham Jr. to the Cleveland Browns in a trade that saw Oliver Vernon join him in Cleveland for Jabrill Peppers, Kevin Zeitler and the Browns first round pick (17th overall) and third round picks in the 2019 NFL Draft.

This trade is a little tougher to compare because of all the players that were part of the deal. At this point in their careers, Beckham has much better per game averages with 6.6 receptions, 92 receiving yards and .74 touchdowns per game.

However, he also had a substantially higher contract and was entering the first year of a five-year extension worth $90 million.

This is a tough trade to compare considering that Odell Beckham Jr. has been more productive at the time of the trade and that there was a number of players included. In addition to the players, the Browns gave up a higher first round pick and a third round pick while the Bills gave up a first and three later round picks.

This at a minimum feels equal with the Buffalo Bills potentially getting a slight edge due to not having to include players and lower picks.

Verdict: Trades are similar
