Two years removed from the 2018 NFL Draft, we hand out our grades for the Buffalo Bills selections.

When discussing the Buffalo Bills 2017 season, it brings up a lot of emotions.

It was a season of hope as the team finished the month of October with a 5-2 record, despair as they would lose five of their next nine contests to finish 9-7 on the season and heartbreak after they lost 10-3 to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Wild card game.

After making the playoffs for the first time since 1998, and losing their fourth wild-card appearance in a row (1996, 1998, 1999 and 2017), some drastic changes were about to come to western New York as new general manager Brandon Beane would make a splash in the 2018 NFL Draft.

With Buffalo playing ‘quarterback musical chairs’ for over a decade, it was time for the team to select their first franchise quarterback since the days of Hall of Famer Jim Kelly.

When looking at the potential suitors to fill the void, there were plenty to pick from:  Heisman winner Baker Mayfield out of the University of Oklahoma, there was UCLA’s Josh Rosen, Louisville’s Lamar Jackson, USC’s Sam Darnold and Wyoming’s Josh Allen.

There was no real consensus of who was worthy of the first-overall selection. Once the draft started and Cleveland selected Mayfield, the rest of the draft was history and it has left its mark on the Bills organization as another raving success.

Within this article is a regrading of every selection the Buffalo Bills made in the 2018 NFL Draft.
