2. Stephon Gilmore

The next two players on this list are two of the top at their position and this was almost a coin flip. Stephon Gilmore was selected 10th overall by the Buffalo Bills in the 2012 NFL Draft. He stepped right in and earned one of the starting cornerback jobs as a rookie, starting all 16 games that year.

He would end up playing five seasons in total for the Bills and during that time had 226 total tackles, 14 interceptions and 62 passes defended. He also made the Pro Bowl, the first one in his career, in 2016.

However, Gilmore left the team after the 2016 season and joined division rival New England Patriots. He continued his success there with two more Pro Bowl selections and two first-team All-Pro nods in 2018 and 2019.

There is no question that Stephon Gilmore is one of the top cornerbacks in the league but he only is number two on this list because the next player has reached that same level in only three seasons.
