The Buffalo Bills signed a number of former Carolina Panthers this offseason but the signing of Daryl Williams could end up being the best the Buffalo Bills made. He is a former second-team All-Pro and has plenty of starting experience since entering the league in 2015.
Williams at worse is a depth signing that could, although not ideal, step in to the starting line-up at four positions along the offensive line. However, best case scenario is that Williams returns to his 2017 form, earns the starting right tackle job. This then would allow Cody Ford to slide inside to guard, which is a position that seems to fit him better.
The fact that the Bills were able to add Daryl Williams with only a one-year deal limits the risk of the move and there is just a ton of potential. Considering the player, his experience and the contract it is very hard to find a negative with this move.
