These are our grades for each pick the Buffalo Bills made in the 2017 NFL Draft.

The 2017 NFL Draft lives on as the draft where the Chicago Bears went up to get Mitchell Trubisky and passed on Patrick Mahomes who is now a Super Bowl champion.

For the Buffalo Bills, they carry the same burden as they traded places in the first round with Kansas City, exchanging their 10th overall pick for Kansas City’s 27th overall pick, a third-round pick and a 2018 first-round pick. Additionally, the 2017 NFL Draft was then-general manager Doug Whaley’s last draft, Sean McDermott’s first as the Bills head coach. With that said, this draft ended up being all-around one of the most complete the team had in recent years.

The 2017 draft was one where the Bills made purposeful selections on both sides of the ball. Addressing their defensive secondary, receivers, offensive line and even quarterback. Though there are some players in this draft class that are no longer with the organization, the prospects made sense at the time and due to that, they were deemed worthy of a pick by the Bills.

It is true that Buffalo did miss on a couple of players, that does not dismiss the fact that they were able to find not only starting-level talent but also a future first-team All-Pro.

Within this article, is a re-grading of every selection the Buffalo Bills made in the 2017 NFL Draft.
