This once again is another move that may not be flashy but can pay huge dividends over the course of a season. Quinton Jefferson has been a key rotational piece for the Seattle Seahawks defense over the past two seasons by playing in over half of their defensive snaps.

While Jefferson can’t fill the void left by Jordan Phillips. he should see plenty of playing time this upcoming season. The addition of Jefferson allows Sean McDermott, Leslie Frazier and Eric Washington get creative with different defensive lines that can create mismatches and cause problems for opposing offenses.

By adding a player like this with his playing experience, on what essentially amounts to a one-year deal, is an excellent deal for the Buffalo Bills and is one fans have come to expect from this front office.
