Contract

While all the final details about the new contract have not been reported, it is hard to see a way this is a bad deal for the Bills. The team was able to re-sign Spain to a three-year deal worth $15 million.

In terms of contract length, the fact that Spain is only 28 years of age makes this the perfect length as he will likely be able to play at a high level through the length of the deal.

When looking at the dollars, at an average salary of only $5 million per year, that makes him the 31st highest paid guard in the NFL, according to Spotrac. This puts him behind former Bills’ guards John Miller and Richie Incognito, who are making $5.5 million and $6.35 million respectively.

The fact that the Bills have a player who is in the prime of their career for the next three years at this salary is an absolutely steal and a win for this franchise.
