Team Need

This area of the grade is a little trickier because looking at the players on the roster, offensive guard wasn’t a major need. The Buffalo Bills have some players that could slide in from Spencer Long to even shifting last year’s right tackle, Cody Ford, into a position that seems better suited for him.

While the position may not be a need, the one thing that was important was bringing Spain to keep the offensive line intact. The Buffalo Bills went through almost an entire overhaul last offseason with Dion Dawkins being the only returning starter.

The offensive line is unique in that these five players need to play in unison and experience playing with the same group year over year only makes an offensive line stronger. It was impressive how quickly this group gelled last year and now with everyone returning it should only put them that much farther ahead entering OTAs and training camp.
