Contract

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the Buffalo Bills and Josh Norman have agreed to a one-year deal worth $6 million that could go up to $8 million with incentives.

Per Spotrac, this would put Josh Norman between 21st at $8 million and 27th at $6 million among cornerbacks. The other players in this range includes Daryl Roberts, Jonathan Jones and D.J. Hayden. If Norman can resemble some form of his Panthers’ days then this contract will be a steal.

The other positive with this deal is that it is only for one-year. The Buffalo Bills are not committing long term to a 32 year old player and it won’t have a negative impact on future years.

In terms of the contract, it is hard to find a negative with this deal.
