Cam Phillips

The first player on this list is actually someone fans can watch playing football on the weekends right now. Cam Phillips has blossomed into a star in the XFL as a member of Houston Roughnecks.

In the first three games of the XFL, he had 324 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. This included back to back games with eight receptions and three touchdowns. This past week though was a bit of a disappointment with only one reception for nine yards but he will look to bounce back in Week 5.

Phillips time with the Bills was fairly brief as he was signed as an undrafted free agent prior to the 2018 season and spent a majority of that season on the team’s practice squad. He had an up and down performance this past preseason and was one of the team’s final cuts.

The Buffalo Bills are likely to be looking to add depth at the position heading into OTAs and training camp and a player like Cam Phillips makes perfect sense.
