Denzel Mims

Another wide receiver that had a great performance at the NFL Combine was Baylor’s Denzel Mims. He certainly checks more of the boxes that the Buffalo Bills may be looking for as he has great size at 6’3″ and 207 pounds.

However he doesn’t sacrifice too much speed at his size after running a 4.38 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. Lance Zierlein of NFL.com wrote the following in Mim’s scouting report and it describes what the Bills need at the position almost perfectly.

"Mims is a long-striding outside target with excellent height, weight and speed and an insane catch-radius. He’s a touchdown threat anytime he’s near the red zone, with the focus and body control to finesse and finish catches above the rim."

If the Bills were able to add a player like Denzel Mims to this offense it would be a nice addition for Josh Allen. He has the size to be that red zone target that was desperately needed last season.
