Henry Ruggs III

One of the qualities the Buffalo Bills will be looking for is likely going to be size with John Brown and Cole Beasley under six feet. While Henry Ruggs III doesn’t have size, he is only 5’11” and 188 pounds, he makes up for it with incredible speed and athleticism.

The former Alabama wide receiver ran a 4.27 40-yard dash, along with a 42 inch vertical jump and 131 inch broad jump in Indianapolis.

The Buffalo Bills also already have a connection with Henry Ruggs III as current offensive coordinator Brian Daboll filled a similar role in 2017 at the University of Alabama. The learning curve for Ruggs having Daboll as his offensive coordinator may not be as steep coming into the NFL.

If the Bills were to draft Henry Ruggs III it would likely cost them a first round pick and there may be other options that are a better fit at that position. However, the connection to Daboll and the incredible speed he showed at the NFL Combine should not be discounted.
