Collin Johnson

If the Buffalo Bills elect to wait until the middle rounds to select a wide receiver than Texas’ Collin Johnson will likely be the target. He is one of the biggest wide receivers in this NFL Draft at 6’6″ and was productive in all four years with the Longhorns.

The concern, and why Johnson is likely a mid round draft pick, is that he isn’t as polished as a wide receiver as some of the others on this list. He is also coming off a down season in comparison to 2018 but his yards per catch actually increased from 14.5 in 2018 to 14.7 in 2019.

Johnson may develop into that number one wide receiver in a few years but the Buffalo Bills would need to accept that as a rookie, they will need to be selective how they utilize the wide receiver. He could be a boost to this offense but he will likely provide the most value as a red zone specialist.
