These are four running backs the Buffalo Bills could target in the 2020 NFL Draft.

With the NFL combine just days away, the Buffalo Bills have many questions to answer, one of which is “Who will be Devin Singletary’s running mate?”

Singletary played 12 games his rookie year and finished with a great stat line of 775 yards, two touchdown and an average of 5.2 yards a carry. Fans from all over clamored for Brian Daboll to run him more, but at 5’7 and only 203 pounds, Singletary isn’t a running back that should be used as a power back. He’s scrappy and makes the first defender miss and his speed is evident when he hits the second level in many of his runs.

However, having a running back that can steadily pick up short yardage situations will be on the minds of the front office.

Frank Gore, who is no doubt a Hall of Fame, is no lock to come back to the Bills in 2020 and the team could be looking to the draft to replace him. Meanwhile, T.J. Yeldon is still on the roster for the Bills, even though he was inactive for much of the last half of the year. Yeldon was an under rated signing who was supposed to recreate the plays he had in the passing game with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Unfortunately for Yeldon, he never really was part of the Bills game plan and given the chance to show what he could do. If Brandon Beane believes they can find a cheaper rookie who has a higher ceiling in this upcoming draft expect them to make that switch. This past year, the Bills found  Singletary in the third round and with the 2020 NFL Draft having many great running backs, he could find value once again.
