Trae Waynes

The Minnesota Vikings have a number of questions at cornerback and the direction they go will determine which players will be leaving this offseason. If Trae Waynes is not in the Vikings’ plan, then the Buffalo Bills should try to make a run at him.

Waynes was the 11th overall pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2015 and he was expected to be the long-term answer at the position alongside Xavier Rhodes. However, there is an easy case to be made that Waynes has surpassed Rhodes as the top corner for the Vikings.

Over the past four seasons, Waynes has averaged almost two interceptions and nine passes defended with over 40 tackles per season.

Similar to the other cornerbacks, Waynes would benefit from playing opposite of Tre’Davious White and likely would see his numbers rise in a defense like the Bills.
