Buffalo Bills: 5 under the radar free agent signings they could make
By Casey Reed
Geronimo Allison
With the depth at wide receiver clear to team officials and fans, adding a young player like Geronimo Allison could help fill out a glaring need for the Bills. Geronimo Allison is a 6’3″ big bodied wide receiver who played for the Green Bay Packers. Signed as an undrafted free agent in 2016, he has steadily gotten better for the Packers and for his career has 89 receptions 1,045 yards and six touchdowns.
Allison is a receiver who can make the contested catches that the Bills so desperately needed last year. While he isn’t necessarily a clear number one wide receiver, he has a skill set that should allow him to crack the starting lineup.
A signing like this should also help Josh Allen by pairing him with a young receiver who is improving each year. Since receiver is the most glaring need for the Bills, expect Beane to add receivers to the roster to create competition.
Many analysts have the Bills adding a receiver in the Draft and in Free Agency, Allison isn’t the big splash many Bills fans want but he might be able to push whomever the Bills add in the Draft.
