Amari Cooper

There is no question that the best wide receiver available in free agency this year is Dallas Cowboys’ wide receiver Amari Cooper. He is likely going to be the wide receiver that comes away with the biggest contract, as long as the Cowboys don’t use the franchise tag on Cooper.

The former University of Alabama wide receiver started his NFL career with the Oakland Raiders and had over 1,000 yards receiving in each of his first two years. However, the final year and half in Oakland was a disappointment and the Raiders elected to trade him to the Cowboys.

He played very well in Dallas with six touchdowns in nine games in 2018 and this past year had 1,189 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.

At only 25 years of age, Cooper is a wide receiver that still has a number of good years ahead of him. He is a prototypical number one wide receiver and would be the perfect addition to this offense.

The question will come down to whether or not the Bills want to break the bank for Amari Cooper.
