3. Running Back
The Buffalo Bills struck gold with their selection of Devin Singletary in the third round in last year’s NFL Draft. However, the depth behind Singletary is lacking and in this NFL it is important for teams to have two, sometimes even three, running backs who can carry the workload if the need arises.
Fortunately for the Bills, they are going to have a wide range of running backs to pick from, both in free agency and the NFL Draft. There are some big name running backs like Melvin Gordon and Kareem Hunt who will be free agents. Based on how the front office has worked to this point, this is likely not the route the team will go in.
However, it would not be surprising considering the Bills are in the back part of the first round, to use that pick on a running back. There are some big college running backs coming out this year, like Georgia’s D’Andre Swift, that would give this offense a one-two punch at the position that most teams don’t have.
