The Buffalo Bills are ready for a re-match with the New England Patriots and the opposing coach has some praise for Josh Allen ahead of the game

Josh Allen has had his share of great games this season but the Buffalo Bills quarterback has also had some lows. The lowest for his during this second campaign in the NFL had to be the performance he had in Week 4.

At this point in the season, the Bills were 3-0 and they were facing another undefeated team in the New England Patriots. Allen struggled against the AFC East leaders as he threw three interceptions and then left with a concussion.

Even with him struggling the Bills were able to keep it close but still lost 16-10. New England knows how tough this team is and with the two set to face off again in Week 16, their head coach is still praising their opponent.

Belichick complimented the Bills offense, saying they do a lot of things well. And according to Matt Parrino of New York Upstate, he gives a lot of credit to Josh Allen for the team’s success.

"“He’s played well and the fact that Buffalo has won so many games has a lot to do with his performance,” Belichick said via Matt Parrino of Syracuse.com"

As much praise as Belichick, or anyone else, wants to give Allen, the strength of this team is their defense. They proved that in Week 4 as they limited Tom Brady and the Patriots to just 16 points.

They showed it again in Week 15 as they were able to secure their playoff spot with a 17-10 road win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football.

Now, they would love to prove it again in their second game this season against New England. But in order to win, they still need Allen to be at his best.

Belichick understands this and if he’s praising the quarterback, then he knows he has to focus on him on Saturday.
