Game: Buffalo Bills (9-4) at Pittsburgh Steelers
Summary: This one won’t be easy. The Bills struggled on offense last week as the Baltimore Ravens were able to pressure Josh Allen and keep him from getting into a good rhythm.
Their inability to pass the ball put a lot of pressure on rookie running back Devin Singletary and while he still played well, he wasn’t able to do it alone.
They should be commended for not giving up as they fought back from a 24-9 deficit to make it a one-score game. However, they can’t go into this game against the Steelers and have a similarly slow start. They need to find a way to get the ball moving early and set the tone.
Even if they do that, this one will likely remain close. The two teams are separated by just one game and are both led by strong defenses. When that’s the case, the game usually comes down to just a couple of plays.
Buffalo enters this one healthier on offense which means they should be able to make those plays. Singletary enters this game on a hot streak and should again carry the load but look for Josh Allen and slot receiver Cole Beasley to once again find a way to connect on a few clutch plays as they put the game away in the fourth quarter and secure their 10th win.
Prediction: Buffalo 20, Pittsburgh 16
