Defensive tackle Ed Oliver had a monster game for the Buffalo Bills in Week 13 and has been voted the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the WeeK

It was quite a week for Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver. Facing the Dallas Cowboys, and what is supposed to be the best offensive line in the game, Oliver was able to raise his game to a new level.

The first-round pick camped out in the Cowboys offensive backfield as he finished with four tackles (three of which went for a loss), two sacks, and a forced fumble.

He was a big part of the Bills defensively dominant showing on Thanksgiving Day as they upset the home team 26-15.

And the young man has now been recognized for his hard work as Oliver was voted the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week for Week 13.

Oliver was originally in contention for the No. 1 overall pick heading into the draft. Thankfully for Bills fans, he ended up sliding some as a few other players gained traction.

Buffalo wound up landing the Houston product at No. 9 overall and he was immediately called one of the biggest steals in the draft.

So far the rookie has 28 tackles and five sacks in 12 games with seven starts. He’s a versatile player capable of lining up all over the front four and can cause problems for anyone trying to block him.

His latest performance came on a national stage as the Bills traveled to Arlington, Texas to play the Cowboys in their annual Thanksgiving Day game.
